The primary goal of the MIXX Awards Belgium is to recognize the campaigns that have met or surpassed their communication goals while recognizing the link between creativity and effectiveness.

The judges of the MIXX Awards Belgium will judge and reward the best out of the digital and interactive marketing. All contributions will be subdivised in several categories that will be judged by a panel of professionals of the industry. The panel is a mix of professionals originating from different sections of the industry, advertisers, media specialists, as well as agencies, etc..The category “European Campaigns” was created to reward campaigns that were developed for several european countries. This category is accessible to foreign agencies. It will be judged by a special, international panel.

The Best-In-Show will be granted to the best campaign in the entire show.

Finally, the MIXX Achievement Awards pays tribute to those individuals, marketeers and agencies that contributed to the development of the interactive and digital marketing.

.: 1 Core Categories

  • Brand Awareness/Positioning
    To impact awareness of the brand or what the brand stands for.
  • Product Launch
    To introduce a new product or service into the marketplace.
  • Direct Response
    To seek a direct response, such as sales, conversions, trials or purchase intent among others.
  • Best use of interactive media (internet, mobile, IDTV, digital TXT, in -gaming)
    Campaign that integrates the best the different digital and interactive channels to achieve their goals.

These four categories are open to all Belgian agencies and advertisers. They include all actions related to interactive communication produced and spread in Belgium.
“Actions related to interactive communication” implies that the campaign needs to integrate at least one of the interactive channels (display, e-mail, Search Engine, SMS, content integration, newsletters, iDTV, etc.) or a combination of those. The campaigns presented need to be composed of at least three different elements (banner, skyscraper, website, etc.).

.: 2 Special Category

  • European campaign – Mixx Europe
    Campaign that is spread in at least three european countries and falls into any of the Core categories.

This category is open to each agency and advertizer regardless of their nationality.
“Actions related to interactive communication” implies that the campaign needs to integrate at least one of the interactive channels (display, e-mail, Search Engine, SMS, content integration, newsletters, iDTV, etc.) or a combination of those.

To recognize the best campaign in the entire show, selected among all the entrants.

.: 4 Achievement Awards

  • Lifetime Achievement
    To recognize an individual that has made monumental contributions to Interactive marketing and advertising during his career.
  • Marketeer of the Year
    To recognize a marketer or advertiser that stands above the rest in raising the bar for Interactive marketing and advertising.
  • Agency of the Year
    To honor the agency that stands above the rest in raising the bar for Interactive marketing and advertising.

Achievement Awards are selected by the IAB editorial team and the members of the panel, nominations are therefor not accepted.
