How to complete the form

Practical advice
  • Be both brief and complete and reply to all the questions on the form. Do not forget that the judges must examine a large number of projects. They appreciate well-prepared applications.
  • Once you have finished, register your application finally by clicking on "validate". Once validated you will no longer be able to modify it.
  • You may submit numerous innovations - but each project must be registered separately.
  • Pay special attention to the "Result" and "Calculation of the Return on Investment" sections. Attention: the data you enter here will remain confidential.
  • If you are still unable to complete your application correctly after having read the instructions on this site and the "Technical Specifications" page, please explain your difficulties to us in an email by clicking on "Contact" in the left corner on the top of this page.
  • Attach illustrations of your innovation or additional information concerning your market information, your results, etc. to your application.
  • In order to allow us to evaluate your project better, you are able to attach electronic files to your application: visual or video media, information on your market, media coverage, Excel sheets.
  • Attention, the addition of attachments does not release you from having to complete your main application with precision and in full. An Excel sheet may, for example, only illustrate the exact results, which you explained in summary in your application file.
  • Click on "Attach files" in the menu at the top of the "Participation form" page;
  • Make sure that you have read and understood the "Technical Specifications" page and that you followed the instructions before uploading.
  • You will no longer be able to attach any files unless you comply scrupulously with our technical specifications (file formats, maximum size of attachments, etc.).
Technical specifications (for your attachments)
  1. All the attachments to your application must be uploaded onto this site. Please do not send them by mail or by any other means.
  2. It is possible to attach up to 4 electronic files containing images, text documents, figures, audio or video, in each of the applications for participation.
  3. Before uploading the files, please ensure that their file format conforms to the specifications given below.
  4. The files must be named simply, i.e. with a short name (less than 10 characters), containing neither spaces, slashes or symbols. All the file names must be written in lower case and include an extension. The files shall for example be called "xyzbb2.jpg" or "photo.pdf".

    Image files:
Present the images in one of these three formats: PDF, GIF or JPEG. The following specifications are the most common for online transmission.

    • GIF (.gif) or JPEG (.jpg) files must be 96 dpi and in indexed colour mode. The largest image must not exceed 400 pixels wide and high, and the largest file size must not exceed 250 KB.
    • For PDF (.pdf) files, you must include a document containing one or more pages of your application file. The PDF file must be smaller than 2 Mb. There is no restriction of the size of the pages in a PDF file.

    Audio Files:
Attach audio files in .mp3 or .wav format.
These files may not exceed 2 Mb.

    Video files:
Attach video files in Quicktime (.mov) or Windows Media Player (.mpg, .wmv) formats. The video files may not exceed 10 Mb. The video documents must not be over 300 pixels wide and high, but may be smaller if you so wish.

    Important note regarding file sizes:
It is possible that the restrictions concerning file sizes will require you to reduce the quality of the attachments to your application. We believe it is important to state that the clarity and quality of the images, audio and video files shall not be taken into account by the Judges but that the documents must all the same remain comprehensible so that their content may be assessed.
