Eligibility criteria

Who may take part?

All companies are invited to take part that

• employ up to 250 people,
• can show that they carry out a significant activity in the Brussels Region,
• have developed one or more innovationsemployant jusqu'à 250 personnes,
  

Which projects will be taken into consideration

The Brussels Innovation Awards were created to award 2 types of innovation:

• Technological innovations:
  ICT, biotechnology, mechanical engineering, patent development, etc.
• Innovations and management, marketing or strategy:
  new products, new types of marketing, new modes of organisation or management, new business models, etc.

These innovations must be implemented in an effective way and have generated the first results showing their capacity durably to create value both with regard to the company and Society in general.

Innovations still in the project stage may also be presented. They must be specifically registered in the "Springboard" category. They shall not be taken into consideration for the Grand Prix award.
